To unlock the stories of the past climate records, it’s essential to understand how today’s precipitation forms and where the moisture comes from. Our research explores modern moisture pathways and their isotopic signatures in the Lago de Tota watershed and in the Sumapaz Region. We conduct this research in partnership with Fundación Montecito and the "Somos Tierra" project of Paideia Elementary School, integrating citizen-science rainfall monitoring with atmospheric back-trajectory analysis.
